Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10)
A "God Stop" is a term we use to describe a moment in our day that commands our complete presence. It is a moment where the natural beauty of the creation aligns so perfectly with our inner spirit that we have no choice but to pause, breathe, and give thanks. It is an ongoing prayer of silent gratitude.
Whether it is the glowing sunset resting on the foothills of Pasadena, a heavy morning mist drifting over the California coastline, or a quiet waterfall cascading in Eaton Canyon, these physical environments serve as anchors. They remind us that the omnipresent Creator is not an abstract concept—He is expressing Himself in the physical terrain, in the air we breathe, and in the quiet spaces of our soul.
Awakening the Observer
In our micro-church, we encourage our members to seek these pauses throughout the day, wherever they walk. Facilitating this awareness is the heart of our mission. When we are fully present, we notice that God is omnipresent—dwelling in the trees, the ocean waves, and the very consciousness that observes them.
We invite you to share these "God Stops" with us, to practice pausing at least once a day, and to let your life be a continuous prayer of alignment.
